“Coir World” Expo

The expo’s inauguration will be led by Mr. S.K. Gowthaman, the esteemed President of the National Coir Federation. Esteemed college officials and faculty will also be in attendance, including Dr. R. Manickachezian (Principal and Dean of Research), Dr. S. Saravana Babu (Director, Academic), Dr. R. Manikandan (Head, PG & RMS Department of Commerce), Dr. R. Muthu Kumaran (Dean of Students Affairs), and Dr. N. Bhuvanesh Kumar (Head, B.Com International Business). We encourage all participants to “STEP-IN AND STAND OUT” at this premier industry event.

Skill Enhancement Programme – IB’s Commodity Confluence 2025

63 Faculties and 1,108 students from NGM College have visited the Expo. The Expo has reached various college students and Faculty belonging to International Business Stream. 10 students from Sree Narayana Guru College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, 93 students from Coimbatore Marine College, Coimbatore, 6 Students from Governments Arts College, Coimbatore, 3 Students from PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, 22 students from Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science,
Coimbatore, 1 students from Nehru Arts and Science College, Coimbatore and 3 Faculty from the above college and 6 Students Parents of NGM college have stepped in the Expo. The Displays have reached 1,315 members.

INTRA INSTITUTIONAL START-UP COMPETITION

Participating in the Intra-Institutional Start-Up Competition provides hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, enhancing critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Students gain practical knowledge in business planning, market research and financial modeling. It fosters teamwork, leadership, and communication abilities while encouraging creativity and innovation.

Department of Social Work & Anti-Drug Club Organizes an ” Awareness and Oath Against Drug Abuse”

The Anti-Drug Awareness and Oath Programme held on 26th June 2025 was a resounding success, drawing active participation from students and faculty members alike. The initiative succeeded in delivering a powerful message about the importance of living a drug-free life and highlighted the proactive role that educational institutions can play in social reform. The heartfelt pledge and engaging addresses served to motivate students to uphold
the values of health, responsibility, and community service. Through such initiatives, NGM
College continues to foster a culture of awareness, discipline, and holistic development.

PEER-TO-PEER SEMINAR

The Peer-to-Peer Seminar organized by R. Nagarjuna was a tremendous success, providing valuable learning opportunities for all the attendees. By engaging students across different academic years, the seminar fostered a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing and peer learning were encouraged. The event has set a precedent for future student-led seminars in the department, aimed at enhancing the learning experience of the Computer Science with AI & ML students at NGM College.
