Internal quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is in vogue since accreditation. The functions of the cell are enumerated as follows: Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters in various activities of the institution. Dissemination of information on quality aspects. Organization of discussions, workshops, seminars and promotion of quality circles. Recording and monitoring quality measures of the institution. Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for quality-related activities. Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report and such other reports as may be decided from time to time. Formation and functions of students quality circles..
Objectives:-As per guidelines of NAAC the objectives are
- To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
- To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.

Mission
- To channelize and systematize the efforts and measures towards academic excellence
- To be the driving force for escorting in quality to remove deficiencies and enhance quality
- To encourage departments to establish student Learning-centric environment to use ICT tools for teaching and learning process and to inculcate value–based education system.
- To encourage Departments to organize Seminars, Workshops, Orientation and Faculty Development Program
- To assess the annual progress of Departments and the University through timely internal and external audit
- To ensure an effective and transparent operations to achieve excellence in Academic, Administrative and Financial activities
- To develop an Institutional data base and documentation of the various activities leading to quality improvement
- To ensure the adequacy, timely maintenance and smooth functioning of the support structure
- To build association with stakeholders and to stimulate Social Responsibility

Functions of the IQAC
- Development and application of quality benchmarks
- Parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution
- Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process
- Collection and analysis of feedback from all stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes
- Periodical conduct of academic and administrative audit and its follow-up
- Dissemination of information on various quality parameters to all stakeholders
- Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles
- Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement
- Acting as a nodal agency of institution of coordinating quality – related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices
- Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining/enhancing the institutional quality
