Athuppollachi Dharmaraju Chellammal Trust and Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam College Tamil Department jointly organized a special lecture at Arutselvar Arangam at 11.00 am on that day. Students participated in the event. Dr. R. Ravichandran, Associate Professor of Tamil, National College, Trichy. They were the chief guests and delivered a lecture on Poems Floating in the Wind.

a special lecture was organized by the Tamil Department of NGM College. Dr. C. Dhandapani of the Centre for Linguistic and Cultural Studies, Pondicherry delivered the keynote address on Personality Development through Medical Perspective. The lecture began in the morning and continued till 4.30 p.m. About 1000 students participated and benefited from the event.
