Department of English UG (Aided) celebrated World Poetry Day entitled “Experiencing the Poet Within” by the resource person Gopa Kumar Radhakrishnan, Managing Editor, Express publications on 21st March 2021.

Final Year UG students were taken for the Industrial Visit to Vagamon and Cochin from 06.03.2020 to 07.03.2020 guided by Ms. K. Parimala Devi, Assistant Professor and Mr. Mohan Kumar, Assistant Professor.

Press Visit
Final Year UG students were taken to ‘The Hindu’, Coimbatore (Press Visit) as a part of Journalism and Mass Communication Course on 01.10.2019 by Mr. Mohan Kumar and Mr. M. Lakshmanan.

MUSA Fraternity, the Literary Association was inaugurated on 12.09.2019 by Ms. Aparna Preethi and Ms. Keerthana, alumni of the Department, addressed the students.
Mask – The Theatre Festival
Students of first, second and Third year participated in theatre festival and enacted the plays on stage. DR.L.Ranjith Head, Department of M.S.W Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam was the chief guest.
