Department of English UG (Aided) organized the student Induction Programme-2020 for the student’s admitted to all I year classes from 31st August to 1st September 2020. Dr. P. K. Babu, Principal, Alshifa College of Arts and Science inaugurated the session. Speakers from different institutions were invited as resource persons. Mathew. M. Chacko, Psychologist, Mr. Antonie Dominic Gnanasudan, Assistant Professor of English, Loyola College, Chennai.

This Bridge Course was organized by the Department of English with the objective of helping the freshers to have a smooth transition from school education to collegiate education. It acquainted them with the opportunities and facilities available within the College campus. The freshers also found the sessions interesting and they actively participated in all the tasks given.
