The Vision of our Department is to assist the student in becoming proficient in using latest Technologies, and critical thinking being prepared for the next level of education and successfully attaining the skills and proficiencies required of today’s work force.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The U.G Department of Information Technology was established in the year of June 2008 with two faculty members. The Department offers B.Sc. (IT) (Bachelor of Information Technology) a three-year UG degree program. In the year of June 2010, faculty strength was fulfilled.

INFRASTUCTURE

The department has excellent learning resources in terms of library, lab and other required (resources) facilities. The department Library contains 168 books. CSI Journals and E-information services are also available. Our department has one LCD, two computers with printer and Internet facility to maintain academic activities.

RESEARCH

All faculty members have completed M.Phil degree and four faculties are guiding M. Phil research scholars. Three faculty members are doing Ph.D in Bharathiar University.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Two faculty members qualified SET, one qualified NET and one qualified SET & NET.
